Job Description
4Wall is a preeminent leader in the entertainment industry, well-known for providing cutting-edge production equipment and services for some of the most iconic events worldwide. From the pulsating atmosphere of the Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) to the grand stages of Metallica's World Tour and the highly-anticipated NFL Draft, 4Wall’s expertise in lighting, rigging, staging, and audio production has made it a cornerstone in event production. The company has earned a prestigious reputation by contributing to renowned productions such as CES, Broadway shows, I Heart Radio, Saturday Night Live, and The Tonight Show, showcasing its versatility and innovative spirit across a wide spectrum of events. With a commitment to excellence and a passion for creating memorable experiences, 4Wall continues to shape the future of live event production through groundbreaking technology and unparalleled customer service.
As the company expands its influence in global markets, it’s seeking a dedicated Project Manager to join its dynamic team. The Project Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the execution of projects, working closely under the supervision of the location Project Director. This role focuses on organizing and managing all aspects of the project lifecycle to ensure successful delivery. It involves meeting strict deadlines, staying within budget, and adhering to detailed project specifications. The Project Manager will coordinate various teams and liaise across departments to ensure each element of the production meets 4Wall’s high standards of quality and safety. From the initial planning stages to the final onsite installation and teardown, this position demands a proactive, detail-oriented professional with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
The ideal candidate will bring at least three years of project management experience, particularly within technical theatre or live event production environments. A strong familiarity with lighting networking protocols such as DMX, SACN, RDM, and manufacturer-specific systems is essential, along with solid knowledge of electricity, electronics, and safe use of hand and power tools. The ability to interpret system drawings, electrical schematics, architectural blueprints, and lighting plots is critical for success in this role. Additionally, proficiency with relevant hardware and software tools will facilitate smooth project management processes. While a Bachelor's degree in Technical Theatre or a related discipline is required (or equivalent professional experience), prior production or stagehand experience is highly preferred. OSHA 30 certification is a plus, underscoring 4Wall’s commitment to workplace safety.
This full-time position offers exposure to a blend of office work and onsite field management at various project locations. It requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed to meet project milestones and accommodate client schedules. Bilingual candidates, particularly those fluent in English and Spanish, are preferred to enhance communication with diverse teams and clients.
Joining 4Wall means becoming part of a company culture that values its people and fosters a family-like atmosphere where every team member feels welcomed and essential to company success. The company provides a comprehensive benefits package, featuring medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a competitive company match, company-paid life insurance, disability coverage, paid time off, pet insurance, and more. Employees enjoy a vibrant, casual work environment with ongoing engagement activities such as themed days, employee contests, wellness initiatives, and community service opportunities. 4Wall emphasizes career growth, offering pathways for internal promotion, professional training, and certifications. With multiple locations across the United States, employees have the chance to travel, transfer, and expand their professional horizons while working on high-profile concerts, TV shows, festivals, and corporate events alongside leading designers and creatives.
