We are currently seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to spearhead electrical construction projects from initiation through to project closeout. This is a pivotal role within our organization, serving as a profit and loss (P&L) leader who is accountable for delivering projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Project Manager will provide strategic leadership to field teams, cultivate strong client relationships, and ensure smooth project execution in complex and fast-moving environments. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to manage all facets of project activities including design, planning, and execution, while also driving business development opportunities to expand our portfolio and contribute to the company’s growth. This role demands a proactive leader with excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, capable of juggling multiple priorities and leading diverse teams. Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience in the construction industry
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing field-level staff
- Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and take initiative
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to operate in safety-sensitive environments
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Capable of performing repeated physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, carrying, reaching, walking, standing, sitting, stooping, kneeling, bending, climbing
- Willingness and ability to operate motor vehicles and heavy machinery
- Must pass drug test and background check
- Commitment to adhere to Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines
Job Qualifications
- Working knowledge of all aspects of construction and industry practices, processes, standards, and their impact on project activities
- Ability to multi-task, collaborate with others, set priorities and take initiative
- Demonstrated success leading a team through complex project execution
- Experience managing and leading field-level staff and holding them accountable to project goals
- Excellent organizational, verbal, written, presentation skills
- Bilingual a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor’s Degree or 10+ years of relative experience
- 5+ years Project Management experience in construction required
Job Duties
- Deliver projects according to client needs while exceeding expectations
- Develop and preserve a positive business relationship with client while ensuring contractual compliance with all parties
- Lead the development of comprehensive project plans for each assigned project incorporating all requirements, constraints, and opportunities
- Direct all project activities including design, planning, and execution through completion
- Drive new business development opportunities to grow the organization
- Manage financial performance while mitigating exposure to risk
- Provide leadership and support to field teams
- Maintain all project records to ensure relevant information is documented and secured
