The company is dedicated to driving smarter, more efficient innovations that support national security, defense, and commercial sectors. With a strong emphasis on collaboration, integrity, and excellence, Leidos offers dynamic career opportunities that challenge the status quo and reward forward-thinking individuals who embrace change and disruption.
The Digital Modernization Sector project area at Leidos is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the team supporting the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN) under the GSM-O II enterprise Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) management system contract at Fort Meade, Maryland. This role is vital in managing complex projects within a fast-paced and mission-critical environment, ensuring successful delivery of high-quality products and services that meet stringent government requirements.
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing multiple concurrent tasks and projects, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, technical resources, stakeholders, and DISA customers. The individual in this role will develop comprehensive project plans, schedule resources, assess risks, and implement mitigation strategies to drive operational efficiencies. This includes monitoring project progression, managing scopes, budgets, and timelines, and supporting process improvements to streamline project execution.
Successful candidates for this position thrive in dynamic environments requiring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities simultaneously. The Project Manager will also facilitate effective communications across internal teams and external stakeholders, prepare essential project documentation, and support various management reviews and customer meetings. Coaching and mentoring junior staff is also part of the role to ensure quality and timely deliverables.
Candidates must hold an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, as no sponsorship will be provided. The position offers a competitive pay range between $92,300 and $166,850 annually, reflecting the candidate's experience, education, and expertise. Leidos values a culture of high performance and innovation and seeks individuals who can contribute to driving mission success while advancing their professional careers in a supportive and challenging environment.
This opportunity at Leidos represents a chance to be part of a leading company that is continuously pushing the boundaries of technology to support vital national defense objectives. With comprehensive benefits that include health and wellness programs, income protection, paid leave, and retirement plans, employees are supported both professionally and personally. Leidos is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring all qualified applicants are considered fairly regardless of background. If you are a proactive, skilled Project Manager looking to make a real impact within a respected organization, this role in the Digital Modernization Sector is an excellent fit.
