The company is dedicated to electrifying the world while advancing efforts to decarbonize energy production, delivering vital electricity necessary for health, safety, security, and improved quality of life globally.
Within GE Vernova, the Gas Power business specializes in engineering cutting-edge, highly efficient natural gas-powered technologies and services. These efforts are paired with decarbonization solutions aimed at promoting a lower carbon future in energy generation. The Gas Power One Field Services team, known as FieldCore, plays an essential role by installing, maintaining, and upgrading power generation equipment, empowering operators of critical energy infrastructure to deliver more reliable and affordable energy solutions.
The Project Logistics Coordinator III will serve as the primary logistics lead across domestic and global facilities, managing shipments, coordinating training events, and providing operational support to facility personnel. This role demands strategic oversight and coordination to ensure that all resource requirements are met efficiently. Responsibilities include maintaining and purchasing materials, managing vendor invoices, reconciling financial transactions, and ensuring the accuracy of inventory records. The role also involves coordinating international shipments, working closely with Service Managers to support job assignments and training operations, and collaborating with immigration teams to secure necessary travel documents such as visas and passports.
The Project Logistics Coordinator III contributes to the ongoing success of FieldCore by driving sourcing strategies that optimize costs and operational flexibility. Additionally, the coordinator creates and manages logistics tracking tools, processes purchase orders, and prepares informative reports for management. Flexibility is essential, as the role involves travel, including international trips, and may require working holidays, weekends, and overtime to meet project demands.
This position offers an opportunity to apply project management and logistical expertise in a dynamic environment, supporting the reliable delivery of energy infrastructure services. The annual salary range for this role is $44,200 to $66,400, classified as exempt from overtime. FieldCore provides an extensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, retirement savings plans, health and wellness reimbursements, and participation in bonus or incentive programs.
