The Power Delivery Solutions group within Mortenson is seeking highly skilled and motivated professionals for the positions of Project Engineer I and II. Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Interpret project plans, specifications, and details for subcontractors and craft persons
- implement the pre-construction quality plan
- obtain and maintain construction permits, manage fee payments and recurring expenses
- develop and maintain material tracking list, project test and inspection listing, concrete placement log, non-conformance report
- manage, create, and distribute contract documents
- establish handling procedures for electronic documents such as RFIs and correspondence
- incorporate processes and procedures for project closeout phase
- manage testing and inspection processes for construction quality management
- implement three-phase inspection system
- establish reporting formats, protocols, schedules, and off-site testing procedures
- notify Project Manager and Superintendent of non-conforming test results or inspection items
- manage submittals including setting up register, obtaining approvals, preparing transmittal forms, coordinating packaging, review, and processing
- expedite submittals to align with project schedule
- communicate submittal process details to subcontractors and suppliers
- issue submittal requirement letters
- provide periodic updates of submittal register to customer or architect
- coordinate subcontractor details including verifying insurance, preparing paperwork, and requesting final payment
- develop and distribute RFIs and change orders
- define and implement procedures for posting revisions and updates to as-built construction documents
- incorporate subcontractor as-built documentation into contract document updates
- mentor, manage, and evaluate field engineers
- determine alternative work methods as needed
- coordinate safety and compliance for all team members
- maintain schedule of timelines and ensure completion
