In the role of Project Engineer, you will be an essential team member responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale treatment and industrial construction projects. Your work will primarily involve wastewater treatment plants, water reclamation facilities, and water treatment systems, with a significant emphasis on leveraging Baker Waters’ self-perform construction capabilities to enhance control over scheduling, cost management, and quality workmanship. Collaborating closely with project managers, superintendents, and field teams, you will ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and meet the highest standards of quality. The Project Engineer acts as a pivotal link in communication and documentation flow, managing contract documents, review processes, and quality control efforts.

Your role will also include maintaining and distributing vital project documentation such as RFIs, RFPs, addenda, and field orders, as well as supporting the preparation of proposals and owner change requests, particularly those related to self-perform work. You will contribute to project close-out activities by preparing "As-Built" drawings and compiling operation and maintenance manuals, guarantees, and warranties. This position demands strong technical knowledge, a commitment to safety protocols, and excellent communication skills to successfully coordinate between owners, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
