The organization is known for its commitment to employee growth, well-being, and fostering a supportive and dynamic workplace environment. The company emphasizes innovation, teamwork, and delivering exceptional service to its guests and community. Working at San Manuel means being part of a dedicated team that values diversity, inclusivity, and professional development.

The Project Coordinator, Horticulture at Yaamava Resort and Casino plays a pivotal role in the successful execution of Seasonal Décor projects from initiation through completion. This position works under the guidance of the Manager, Horticulture to ensure all horticultural projects align with the department’s vision and operational goals. The role involves coordinating internal resources, third parties, and vendors to guarantee flawless project implementation while maintaining schedules, scopes, and budgets. This position demands strong project management skills, proficiency with project databases, and the ability to create and present detailed floral and décor designs using various design software including Photoshop, InDesign, and AutoCad.

Besides project execution, the Project Coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining performance tracking systems like Smart sheets and Excel spreadsheets to monitor progress and milestones. These measures aim at improving process efficiency and providing departmental leadership with accurate and timely metrics. The role occasionally requires attending meetings, trade shows, and conferences and might necessitate working during evening, weekend, or holiday shifts because of the seasonal demands of the décor projects. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally, operate office equipment, and engage in activities such as stooping, kneeling, and walking within office and event environments. The position also requires adherence to confidentiality, professional communication skills, and possibly obtaining gaming licenses or driver authorization as per regulatory guidelines. Overall, this role offers an exciting opportunity for those passionate about project coordination within a vibrant hospitality and entertainment setting, contributing to the aesthetic and operational excellence of the resort’s seasonal and special event décor.
