Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Prior experience in project coordination or management
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal
- Proficiency in using project management software and databases
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Willingness to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- Experience in project coordination or management preferably in academic or research settings
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in managing databases and digital documentation
- Familiarity with grant procedures and reporting requirements
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
- Experience supporting faculty and educational programs
Job Duties
- Coordinate day-to-day operations for cancer research training and education programs and special education grant initiatives
- Manage participant and student logistics including recruitment communications, onboarding, orientation, paperwork, stipend coordination, conference registration, and travel support
- Maintain project documentation, shared files, databases, and tracking systems for program implementation, evaluation, progress tracking, and federal reporting
- Support faculty and postdoctoral development by tracking and distributing funding opportunities, maintaining grant-writing resources and templates, coordinating proposal reviews, and managing internal pilot funding processes
- Schedule and organize meetings, educational sessions, doctoral seminars, advisory board meetings, and other program activities including preparation of materials and follow-up
- Coordinate training and event logistics including space, speakers, materials, attendance tracking, and program continuity
- Provide general administrative and program support including copying, scanning, and related tasks
- Perform other related duties as assigned
