With a focus on economic growth and social well-being, the Partnership brings together a network of member companies and ally organizations across Central Ohio to foster collaboration and strategic initiatives that contribute to long-term regional success. Among the Partnership’s key components are One Columbus, which is recognized as one of the nation’s top economic development teams serving the expansive 11-county Columbus Region, and Smart Columbus, a civic innovation lab dedicated to exploring new technology solutions and advancing community goals. Together, these entities drive efforts to attract new business investments, support expansions, and create economic opportunities that improve quality of life for residents in the area.
The Role: The Project Coordinator position is critical to supporting the successful execution of business attraction and expansion projects across the Columbus Region. This role acts as a vital member of the deal closing project management and client services team, facilitating the coordination of project-related activities, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring consistent communication with all stakeholders throughout each project’s lifecycle. By providing essential administrative and project coordination support, the role helps keep high-impact economic development initiatives moving forward efficiently and effectively.
Specifically, responsibilities include working closely with regional partners to manage project documentation, tracking activities, responding promptly to client requests, and delivering exceptional service to both internal teams and external stakeholders. This dynamic position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and demonstrates strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and adaptability. The role involves working closely with multiple internal departments, regional collaborators, community stakeholders, and prospective companies to promote business investment and foster regional growth. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Corporate Investment, this position offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the economic development goals that support the Columbus Region’s prosperity.
