Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years previous experience in event coordination
- Excellent public speaking and people skills
- Ability to travel occasionally
- Flexible work schedule including evenings and weekends
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds

- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
Job Duties
- Scheduling of all events by coordinating dates for use of community facilities with management before engaging entertainment
- Book events such as wine tastings, non-profit organizations, clubs, and other groups
- Negotiate and engage signed contracts for entertainment, theme events, and educational symposiums by obtaining all pertinent accounting and contact information
- Promote events by securing publicity materials for newsletters, fliers, and eblasts ensuring timeliness
- Manage promotional materials including signs, posters, and tickets, updating them weekly
- Coordinate all event requirements in advance by liaising with management, on-site staff, and maintenance personnel
- Attend events to introduce performers and gather resident feedback for future event planning
- Maintain a flexible work schedule with availability during evenings and weekends
