This opportunity within REM Community Services is for the position of Program Director, IDD Services, a pivotal role that directly influences the quality and efficiency of programs designed to improve the lives of those they serve. This leadership role offers a competitive salary range of $53,500 to $55,000 and invites energetic professionals passionate about social and human services to join a team dedicated to transformative outcomes. As a Program Director, you will oversee the comprehensive management of up to four community programs, ensuring that supports are person-centered and effectively implemented. Your responsibilities will include coordinating direct supports, health care management, advocacy, and maintaining proactive stakeholder relationships. You will ensure compliance with regulatory standards and lead efforts in recruiting, staffing, training, and maintaining a safe, functional program environment. Your role is critical in guiding staff performance through evaluations, scheduling, orientation, and facilitating decisions related to hiring, promotions, and disciplinary actions, ensuring the team operates at optimal performance.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Two to three years of related experience in the Human Services Industry preferred
Other education, experience, training, licensure, or certification per state requirements or applicable regulations
Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and two to three years of related experience in the Human Services Industry preferred
An equivalent combination of education and experience
Other education, experience, training, licensure, or certification per state requirements or as required by applicable regulations

Job Duties

Manage the day-to-day operations of one to four programs in a community including organization and implementation of direct supports, person-centered planning, and implementation, health care, advocacy, stakeholder relations, regulatory compliance, recruiting, retention, staffing, training, safety, financial management, and maintenance of the physical environment
Manage program staff members including performance evaluations, scheduling, and orientation
Make recommendations and/or decisions on employee hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, corrective action, and terminations
Manage the implementation of program planning
monitor delivery of services and supports
ensure services are consistent, engaging, and relevant to the individuals served
Must be available on-call to support staff, find coverage or cover shifts as needed
