Job Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or quality-related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or advanced degree with minimum 7 years' experience
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience in engineering, technical, or quality positions
- Knowledge of quality management systems and processes
- Must work onsite at the East Hartford, CT location
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical, business or quality field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 10 years prior relevant experience
- Advanced degree in a related field with minimum 7 years' experience in engineering/technical/quality positions
- Strong project management skills
- Strong knowledge of processes and procedures associated with direct part producer support
- Superior knowledge of the Pratt & Whitney Quality Management System and familiarity with supplier quality management systems
- Working knowledge of complex engine components and assemblies
- Strong communication, leadership, team building, writing, and presentation skills
- High energy, dynamic individual committed to continuous improvement and first-time quality
Job Duties
- Participate/host customer interactions supporting production, test and delivery of our GTF engine programs
- Collaborate with mod centers to identify and drive actions to reduce escapes, improve quality signature
- Understand and communicate the 'voice of the customer' (externally and internally) in decisions affecting quality and performance
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to identify and drive quality improvement projects that reduce defects and quality escapes
- Work with functional groups to help define and establish quality process improvements
- Utilize APQP & PPAP core elements (PFMEA, MSA, process flow and control plans, etc.) to identify risks and propose mitigation solutions
