Job Description

The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) is a faith-based religious organization committed to proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ through various ministries and outreach efforts. Founded over 75 years ago by the renowned evangelist Billy Graham, BGEA has become a globally recognized ministry working to reach people worldwide with the message of salvation. The organization operates through multiple locations, including its headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina, the Billy Graham Library, the Billy Graham Training Center at the Cove in Asheville, North Carolina, and Blue Ridge Broadcasting in Asheville, along with various field offices worldwide. Employees of BGEA are part of a dedicated team of Christians united by their mission to spread the Christian faith by every effective means possible and to equip local churches and individuals to continue this work.

The role within the Crusades Department seeks an individual who will contribute to the mission and goals of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association by assisting with the personnel and production of evangelistic events efficiently and effectively. This position engages directly in the implementation of live events such as Franklin Graham and Will Graham crusades, special tours, the Billy Graham Library programs, and Samaritan's Purse events.

The Crusades Ministries exist to evangelize by proclaiming the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ worldwide, equipping local churches and believers to share the message and disciple those who accept Christ. The position requires working closely with the Program Production Venue Senior Event Manager and other team members in planning, coordinating, and executing event logistics. Key responsibilities include managing artist and crew arrangements, supporting pre-production activities, facilitating logistical requirements of programming, transportation, and accommodations for guest artists, coordinating local volunteers and subcontractors, and ensuring all technical and operational elements meet the ministry's high standards.

This role also emphasizes strong Christian character and mission alignment. All employees must maintain a personal and active relationship with Jesus Christ, consistently pray for the ministry, and demonstrate behavior aligned with BGEA's mission and statement of faith. The work demands flexibility, independent decision-making, effective leadership, and good interpersonal communication skills. The nature of the ministry means the employee must be willing to work non-traditional hours, including weekends, and undertake international and domestic travel frequently.

BGEA offers full-time employees benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance; a 401(k) retirement plan; paid holidays and vacation days; and disability and life insurance. This comprehensive support system underlines BGEA's commitment to the well-being of its staff as they fulfill their vital roles in extending the evangelical mission worldwide.
