Job Description

World Wide Technology (WWT) is a global technology solutions provider that prides itself on delivering cutting-edge IT solutions and services across various industries, including public sector and government services. Established in 1990, WWT has built a reputable foundation centered around innovation, execution, and collaboration. With more than 12,000 employees worldwide and a demonstrated history of excellence, WWT supports federal civilian, Department of Defense (DoD), and intelligence community markets with operationally ready and cost-effective technology implementations. The company combines an advanced technology center that fosters innovation with a global logistics network, making it a leader in digital transformation and AI initiatives.

The Government Services team at WWT specifically serves federal and defense customers by providing highly cleared professionals capable of supporting mission-critical systems in highly secure and classified environments. This division excels at delivering innovative IT solutions that enhance the interoperability, security, and resilience of military and governmental infrastructures, ensuring compliance with federal cybersecurity mandates and policies.

This full-time, direct hire role—which offers a competitive salary range of $150,000 to $165,000 annually—focuses on Program Management Support and Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) responsibilities. The role is critical for supporting the Air Force Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) aligned with the Air Force Information Network (AFIN) initiative. The chosen candidate will function as a trusted cybersecurity advisor to government leadership, ensuring compliance with DoD and Air Force cybersecurity policies while managing program execution, reporting, and operational readiness.

The individual will engage in implementing and maintaining the Department of Defense’s Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes, developing and reviewing cybersecurity documentation such as System Security Plans, Plans of Action and Milestones, and Incident Response documentation. Additionally, the role demands active coordination with various stakeholders including system administrators, engineers, and government officials to monitor vulnerability management, support continuous monitoring activities, and uphold compliance with NIST and Air Force directives.

This position requires not only deep cybersecurity expertise but also strong program management capabilities, including tracking project milestones, preparing executive-level briefings, and facilitating communication between technical teams and leadership. The candidate must adeptly navigate classified environments and mission systems, exhibiting proficiency in Agile project management methods and knowledge of cloud security platforms such as AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, and Platform One.

Preferred work location for this position is San Antonio, TX, working fully onsite at Lackland Air Force Base. Candidates must currently hold an active DoD TS/SCI clearance or higher. The role is ideal for professionals with at least eight years of experience supporting DoD or federal cybersecurity and/or program management efforts, proficiency with DoD cybersecurity requirements like 8140 DCWF 511/801 and 8570 IAT II certifications, and experience with NIST 800-53, eMASS, ACAS, and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).

WWT offers an exceptional benefits package designed to support employee health, financial well-being, and work-life balance. The company is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive culture that encourages professional growth, innovation, and belonging. Working at WWT means being part of a community that strives for excellence while maintaining a great workplace environment recognized by Fortune and Great Place to Work for over a decade.
