Job Description

The company hiring for the Program Manager, Learning & Development role is a well-established organization focused on delivering comprehensive learning and development programs across multiple brands. Based in San Francisco, this company emphasizes operational excellence, cross-functional collaboration, and seamless execution of high-impact training events aligned with strategic business objectives. They operate within a dynamic, multi-brand environment requiring the management of various stakeholders and complex logistics to ensure the successful delivery of training initiatives that empower employees and foster professional growth. The organization supports continuous learning through well-structured programs, leveraging technology platforms such as Learning Management Systems and integrating with enterprise systems like Workday.

This Program Manager position is a vital leadership role responsible for the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of all learning and development initiatives. The role requires managing logistics for training programs and workshops during National Sales Meetings (NSMs), launch meetings, and affiliate readiness activities. The Program Manager will partner closely with cross-functional teams to build comprehensive training agendas, manage schedules, and ensure event logistics, including venue sourcing, audiovisual support, and branded material distribution. They will also oversee budget management, vendor relations, and contractual negotiations for training services across various brands.

In addition to event planning, the Program Manager plays a critical role in managing communication channels for training participants, coordinating onboarding and logistics via BridgeLearn, and leading welcome calls and training-related communications. They will act as the primary contact for learners during training events and coordinate remote training sessions with field teams to align presenters and materials.

Key responsibilities also include overseeing financial aspects such as vendor invoice processing and speaker compensation, managing travel arrangements for participants, and supporting on-site requirements during major learning events. The Program Manager will lead the migration of the Learning Management System to the new Allego platform and ensure smooth integration with Workday for optimal training administration.

A significant part of the role involves maintaining readiness for affiliate launches by coordinating with project managers to track training milestones, tying them into commercialization timelines, and providing executive status updates. The role demands maintaining training documentation in compliance with California reporting requirements and standardizing governance of shared platforms like SharePoint to balance brand-level autonomy with organizational oversight.

This position requires approximately 25 percent travel to support off-site trainings and events. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to navigate high visibility and collaboration environments across multiple stakeholders and brands. This opportunity is perfect for a proactive leader passionate about driving learning strategies that not only meet but exceed business goals and support the growth and development of talent within the company.
