This role involves leading the logistical planning, coordination, and execution of learning events across multiple brands, including National Sales Meetings (NSMs) and launch meetings. The Program Manager acts as a key liaison between cross-functional teams, ensuring that all training initiatives align with business objectives and are delivered effectively. \n\nThe Program Manager will manage the L&D training calendar and coordinate room and space allocations, build detailed training agendas including selecting presenters and content, and oversee hotel sourcing and full event logistics. Serving as the on-site meeting host, this individual provides primary contact support for AV, materials, and participant needs to guarantee smooth learning experiences. Additionally, the role requires managing communication with training participants, including onboarding, coordinating welcome calls, and managing training calls with field teams across brands. \n\nBudget and vendor management are crucial components of this role. The Program Manager oversees department budgets, negotiates and manages vendor contracts, reviews and processes invoices, and schedules and compensates external speakers. Logistics and materials coordination extend to managing participant travel, ensuring timely delivery of training materials, and handling branded merchandise procurement and distribution. This position requires active onsite support during key trainings and leading a migration to a new learning management system that integrates with existing platforms. \n\nThis role also involves affiliate launch readiness, partnering with project managers across affiliates to align timelines, maintain centralized trackers for training milestones, and provide executive updates on training readiness. The Program Manager maintains oversight of L&D metrics, training documentation compliance especially related to California reporting requirements, and governs the use of brand-level SharePoint systems. \n\nTravel requirements are approximately 25%, underscoring the importance of flexibility and mobility in meeting various stakeholders and supporting learning events. With high visibility across the organization and frequent collaboration among multiple departments, the Program Manager plays a vital part in advancing the company's learning culture and achieving organizational excellence through the delivery of effective development programs.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • At least 5 years of experience in learning and development or program management
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to manage budgets and vendor contracts
  • Experience in coordinating multi-brand training programs
  • Flexibility to travel approximately 25% of the time
  • Proficiency with learning management systems and related software
  • Ability to work onsite in San Francisco
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, education, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years experience in learning and development program management or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of training and event planning principles
  • Proficient in project management tools and software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships

  • Skilled in learning management systems, preferably Allego or similar platforms

Job Duties

  • Oversee end-to-end logistical planning for learning and development programs and workshops at NSMs and launch meetings
  • Manage L&D training calendar and room/space needs across brands and stakeholders
  • Build comprehensive training agendas including presenters, content, and scheduling aligned to objectives
  • Source hotels and manage full event logistics including on-site hosting and AV/materials support
  • Act as primary point of contact for training participants including communications, onboarding, and logistics
  • Lead welcome calls and coordinate communications surrounding training events
  • Coordinate training calls with field teams across brands including slides and presenters
  • Manage L&D department budgets across brands
  • Negotiate and manage training vendor contracts
  • Review and process invoices ensuring timely and accurate payment
  • Oversee speaker scheduling, contracting, and compensation
  • Coordinate participant travel logistics
  • Ensure timely development and delivery of training materials to events
  • Manage branded merchandise procurement and distribution
  • Provide on-site support for Training Managers during NSM, Kickoff, and off-site trainings
  • Lead LMS migration to new platform and integrate with Workday
  • Partner with PMs across affiliates to ensure alignment and clarity of evolving timelines
  • Create and manage a centralized launch readiness tracker tying training milestones to commercialization timelines
  • Provide executive-ready status updates on training readiness
  • Maintain an overview of L&D metrics
  • Responsible for training documentation system per California reporting requirements
  • Standardize, govern, and manage brand-level autonomy of SharePoint
