With a widespread global presence and a solid ethical foundation, KBR partners closely with government and commercial clients to develop advanced solutions that address complex challenges and secure critical infrastructure. The company's relentless pursuit of innovation is backed by a team of skilled professionals dedicated to meeting the highest standards of quality and performance.
The Program Manager role within KBR's Product and Technology Solutions Division is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing complex security system programs from inception through sustainment. This position demands expertise in managing multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring seamless collaboration between technical, engineering, and operational personnel to meet stringent contractual, technical, cost, schedule, and performance benchmarks. The Program Manager will serve as the primary liaison with government stakeholders, providing transparent communication and strategic oversight essential to advancing mission objectives.
This role is contingent upon the award of a contract and is based on-site, emphasizing direct engagement with government clients and hands-on management of ongoing projects. Compensation for this role ranges between $149,270 and $223,905, reflecting the candidate's experience and qualifications, and aligning with contract affordability and internal equity. In addition to a competitive salary, KBR offers various forms of additional compensation including bonuses, commissions, signing bonuses, and incentives tied to exceptional performance.
The Program Manager is tasked with ensuring that all program components—from personnel allocation and training to budget control and risk management—are meticulously coordinated and aligned with project goals. The role includes managing multiple concurrent baseline support and technical tasks, conducting monthly program management reviews, and presenting findings and innovations to senior government officials. The successful candidate will monitor emerging trends and technological advancements within the IT industry to ensure that KBR's security solutions remain at the forefront of the sector.
KBR values diversity, inclusion, and a culture that supports career growth and work-life balance. Employees benefit from an extensive package that includes health and dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, disability coverage, flexible spending accounts, paid time off, and professional development opportunities. The company is committed to fostering a workplace that promotes belonging, connection, and growth, encouraging every employee to contribute to a Zero Harm culture where safety and wellbeing are paramount.
In summary, the Program Manager at KBR will play a vital role in delivering high-impact security systems that protect critical infrastructure and support national security objectives. Candidates must have strong experience in program management, a PMP certification, and an active DoD Top Secret security clearance. This position is ideal for a seasoned leader with a background in IT management, cybersecurity, engineering, or related technical fields who thrives in a dynamic and challenging environment dedicated to innovation and excellence.
