Regulatory compliance and accreditation readiness are central responsibilities of this role. The Program Director ensures that all education and competency activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations such as CMS, FDA, MQSA, and state radiation control programs. They lead education initiatives and documentation preparation for accreditation surveys by organizations such as DNV, ACR, and MQSA, thereby maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.

The role demands exceptional communication skills to translate complex imaging technology concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Additionally, the Program Director conducts internal audits, analyzes trends, and works closely with teams in Quality, Risk Management, Compliance, and Radiation Safety to address risks and implement corrective actions.
