The role of Program Director for IDD Services based in Tucson (with flexibility to work from Phoenix and surrounding areas) offers an exciting opportunity for experienced human and social service professionals to advance their careers within a mission-driven environment. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm, offering a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $65,000 annually. A sign-on bonus of $500 is offered, distributed in two payments, rewarding commitment and longevity within the organization. The Program Director plays a crucial leadership role by managing the daily operations of one to four community programs that target direct support services, health care advocacy, person-centered planning, and much more. Job Requirements

  • willingness to work in Tucson at least two days per week

Job Duties

  • manage the day-to-day operations of one to four community programs including direct supports, person-centered planning, healthcare advocacy, and stakeholder relations
  • oversee program staff performance evaluations, scheduling, and orientation
  • make decisions on employee hiring, transfers, promotions, salary adjustments, disciplinary actions, and terminations
  • monitor service delivery to ensure consistency, engagement, and relevance
  • maintain regulatory compliance, safety standards, and financial management
  • provide on-call support to staff to cover shifts and resolve issues
  • ensure the physical environment of programs is safe and well-maintained
