The Program Director for IDD Services/ICF in Boise, ID, is a full-time position with an annual salary of approximately $50,000. This role is a pivotal leadership opportunity within the social and human services sector. The Program Director is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of one to four programs within the community, ensuring that direct supports and person-centered services are effectively organized, implemented, and maintained at the highest standard. This position requires at least three years of experience in Intermediate Care Facilities (ICF), ensuring a seasoned understanding of the regulatory, operational, and interpersonal demands of this specialized field.
In this role, the Program Director will engage in the comprehensive management of healthcare services, advocacy efforts, stakeholder relations, regulatory compliance, staffing, training, safety protocols, financial oversight, and maintenance of program environments. The position requires adept leadership skills to oversee program staff, conduct performance evaluations, manage scheduling, orient new employees, and make informed decisions regarding hiring, promotions, and disciplinary actions. The Program Director also plays a critical role in ensuring that service delivery remains consistent, engaging, and relevant to the individuals served, embodying the principles of dignity, respect, and personalized care.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- At least 3 years of experience in Intermediate Care Facilities
- Relevant human services experience
- Valid driver's license with car registration and auto insurance
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines effectively
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Compassionate and responsible work ethic
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and two to three years of related experience in the Human Services Industry preferred
- At least 3 years of ICF experience
- An equivalent combination of education and experience
- Other education, experience, training, licensure, or certification per state requirements or as required by applicable regulations
- Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task to meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills to manage relationships
- A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach
Job Duties
- Manage the day-to-day operations of one to four programs in a community including organization and implementation of direct supports, person-centered planning, and implementation, health care, advocacy, stakeholder relations, regulatory compliance, recruiting, retention, staffing, training, safety, financial management, and maintenance of the physical environment
- Manage program staff members including performance evaluations, scheduling, and orientation
- Make recommendations and/or decisions on employee hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, corrective action, and terminations
- Manage the implementation of program planning
- monitor delivery of services and supports
- ensure services are consistent, engaging, and relevant to the individuals served
- Must be available on-call to support staff, find coverage or cover shifts as needed
