Job Description

Dress for Success Houston (DFS Houston) is an independent 501(c)(3) organization that has been serving the Houston community since 1998. The organization is dedicated to empowering individuals seeking economic independence by providing professional attire, confidence-building support, and comprehensive job retention and career advancement services. Over the years, DFS Houston has positively impacted more than 46,000 clients and is part of a prestigious global network consisting of 150 affiliates in 30 countries. The team collaborates closely with community partners, employers, and volunteers to deliver programs designed to help clients secure and sustain meaningful employment opportunities.

DFS Houston is looking for a full-time Program Associate based in Houston, TX, to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of client-facing programs and services. This on-site role is responsible for managing client workshops and events, ensuring a welcoming and highly organized environment for both clients and volunteers. The Program Associate will help maintain accurate client records, assist in program outreach activities, and support data collection and reporting to measure and improve program impact. Daily responsibilities include communicating effectively with clients and community partners, managing inquiries, preparing program materials, and collaborating with other staff members to optimize program processes. Additionally, the role will occasionally require evening or weekend support for special events and program activities.

This position offers a salary range of $50,000 to $55,000, reflecting the importance and dedication expected of the role. The Program Associate will play a crucial part in coordinating member communications, managing the Learning Management System (LMS), entering and validating attendance data, and ensuring the continual evaluation and improvement of program content and curriculum. By fostering collaboration across departments and maintaining program compliance and standard operating procedures, the Program Associate will help ensure seamless program delivery and excellent client experiences. This position requires a commitment to detailed, accurate work and exceptional organizational skills. Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 2 years of relevant experience in program coordination or related field

Job Duties

  • coordinate member communications including meeting reminders newsletters invitations and follow-up emails
  • manage the Learning Management System (LMS) by creating and maintaining courses learning materials quizzes discussion channels course configurations member accounts and related program content
  • accurately enter validate and reconcile attendance across all learning modes including in-person Zoom and LMS while partnering with the Data Analyst to ensure attendance accuracy and reporting integrity
  • evaluate program content and curriculum to ensure consistency relevancy and continuous improvement
  • foster collaboration across departments to support seamless program delivery
  • maintain program curriculum SOPs registrations waivers volunteer training and compliance procedures
  • coordinate end-to-end logistics for on-site virtual and hybrid meetings including room setup AV technology and Zoom management
  • provide general administrative and organizational support for assigned programs
