Job Description

Leidos is a leading global technology and defense company dedicated to delivering innovative solutions that enhance government and commercial operations. Headquartered in Reston, Virginia, Leidos employs approximately 47,000 people worldwide and reported revenues of around $16.7 billion for the fiscal year ending January 3, 2025. The company is known for its commitment to integrity, community engagement, and sustainable business practices, consistently operating with a mission to do the right thing for its customers, employees, and the communities it serves. Leidos values diversity and the unique talents of its workforce, fostering an environment where innovation thrives and employees are empowered to drive meaningful impact across multiple sectors.

Leidos is currently seeking a highly skilled Project Analyst to join the Defense Sector within the Decision Advantage Business Area. This position is primarily remote (approximately 75% of the time) but requires occasional on-site work at Warner Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, with a preference for candidates residing in the nearby area due to the 25% office presence. The role involves supporting the Program Manager in the execution of a highly complex defense program and offering comprehensive operational and administrative assistance to the team. The Project Analyst will play a crucial role in program management activities including scheduling, tracking deliverables, managing subcontractors, and preparing technical and status reports.

An ideal candidate for this role possesses 6 to 10 years of relevant experience, a bachelor’s or master’s degree, and active DoD Secret clearance. The role demands someone who can manage multiple priorities with a positive and adaptable approach, collaborate effectively across diverse teams, and demonstrate high attention to detail and technical acumen. Responsibilities include developing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), ensuring timely delivery of critical documents, conducting trend analysis, preparing briefings, and assisting with program planning and cost estimation. The Project Analyst will also be expected to support change management efforts, including agile software methodologies, and help maintain standard operating procedures and training materials.

This position suits a disciplined professional who thrives in a dynamic environment with cross-functional collaboration among internal experts, subcontractors, and customer representatives. Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical information into clear and actionable items are essential. Through their work, the Project Analyst contributes directly to the success of critical defense initiatives and supports Leidos’ commitment to outthinking, outbuilding, and outpacing the status quo, ensuring mission success for its government partners.

Leidos offers a competitive pay range from approximately $82,550 to $149,225 annually, reflecting the importance of this challenging and rewarding role. Compensation packages are designed to attract and retain top talent and include comprehensive health and wellness programs, income protection, paid leave, and retirement benefits. Joining Leidos means becoming part of a mission-driven team that does not settle for the status quo but instead moves rapidly towards innovation and excellence in defense technology and beyond.
