Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • two to three years of global cooking experience
  • ability to work the full-time schedule of Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm
  • willingness to undergo training
  • ability to adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to perform physical tasks related to cooking and kitchen maintenance
  • effective communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Two to three years of global cooking experience
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • ability to follow established recipes accurately
  • experience in supervising kitchen staff
  • skill in operating and cleaning kitchen equipment
  • strong organizational skills
  • ability to maintain accurate production records

Job Duties

  • May oversee the cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by Food Service Director
  • prepares various entrees and menu items following established recipes
  • operates and cleans equipment after each use and performs scheduled routine cleaning
  • stores, labels and dates food items according to policy and helps maintain organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated and frozen products
  • follows HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply
  • complies with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures
  • assists Food Service Director in maintaining accurate daily production records and completes all required documentation, reports, and logs as assigned
  • assists in the cross training of employees
  • performs other duties as assigned
