Job Description
The Broadmoor is a world-renowned Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five Diamond resort, celebrated for its luxurious accommodations, exceptional service, and stunning location. Nestled amidst picturesque landscapes, The Broadmoor offers an unparalleled experience to its guests, combining rich history with modern amenities. As one of the most respected names in hospitality, the resort prides itself on maintaining the highest standards of quality in every aspect of its operations, from exquisite dining experiences to top-tier recreational facilities. The Broadmoor's commitment to excellence has made it a premier destination for travelers seeking both relaxation and adventure.
As a Professional Cook at The Broadmoor, you will have a vital role in sustaining the resort's legacy of outstanding culinary excellence. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment within world-class kitchens that serve both restaurant and banquet operations. The resort is currently hiring culinary professionals at multiple levels, ranging from entry-level to lead roles, allowing candidates to find the ideal fit for their experience and career aspirations. By joining this prestigious team, you become an ambassador of The Broadmoor brand, upholding Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five Diamond standards in every dish prepared and served.
The role offers two levels: Culinary Cook II, designed for individuals eager to build foundational skills and obtain hands-on experience; and Culinary Cook I, suited for seasoned culinarians who are ready to take ownership of food preparation, execution, and maintaining top culinary standards. In either capacity, you will engage in preparing a variety of hot and cold dishes, assisting with meal services such as breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and supporting banquet functions with precision and efficiency. Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and safety within the kitchen environment is paramount, guided by strict adherence to food safety protocols and ServSafe standards.
You will collaborate with chefs and team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations, proper inventory management, and compliance with recipe specifications, portion controls, and food presentation guidelines. Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and dedication to teamwork are essential traits for success in this role. At higher levels, increased responsibility for quality control and team oversight will be expected. This position is not only about culinary skills but also about delivering memorable guest experiences that reflect The Broadmoor’s commitment to hospitality excellence.
The Broadmoor values employees who are reliable, enthusiastic, and passionate about food and service. The resort fosters a supportive environment that encourages professional growth and development, offering extensive training opportunities to help team members advance their careers. Whether you are just starting in the culinary arts or seeking to elevate your expertise at a prestigious resort, The Broadmoor provides a platform to thrive while being part of a storied tradition dedicated to exceptional service and culinary innovation.
