Flamingo is an innovative all-in-one resident engagement mobile app designed to enhance the living experience in luxury residential apartment buildings. Our platform offers an array of premium services including well-curated resident events, diverse fitness classes, and personalized concierge services. We are currently seeking experienced, passionate chefs to join our team as freelance culinary instructors and event caterers. This role is perfect for certified or licensed chefs who have a flair for sharing their cooking expertise through engaging classes and catering exquisite events for our residents. As a Flamingo Pro Chef, you will be responsible for facilitating a diverse range of cooking classes—including sushi, pasta, desserts, Italian cuisine, and more—and for catering at resident events such as cooking parties and culinary gatherings. We believe that food is a powerful medium for connection, education, and entertainment, and we want chefs who can bring energy, professionalism, and creativity to each event.
The position requires availability mainly on weekday evenings from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with additional opportunities on weekends to cater to resident schedules. You will become the face of Flamingo at these events, responsible for creating a memorable experience by being upbeat and engaging. This means arriving on time to organize your setup, ensuring every event begins and ends punctually, and maintaining effective communication with our team regarding attendance and feedback. Taking photos during events to capture memorable moments is also part of the responsibility.

Job Requirements
- Able to facilitate a wide variety of cooking classes including sushi, pasta, desserts, Italian, and more
- Available Monday - Friday from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm with availability on weekends
- Be the face of Flamingo by being professional, upbeat and engaging
- Arrive prior to each event to get set-up and organized
- Ensure events start and end on time
- Take photos at assigned events
- Communicate and provide post-event feedback
- Have access to email and phone communication
- Be able to input attendance data after each event
Job Qualifications
- Be a certified or licensed chef
- Experience facilitating cooking classes and/or providing catering services for events
- 2-3 years of experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage groups in an educational and entertaining manner
Job Duties
