As part of our ongoing commitment to excellence and resident engagement, Flamingo is seeking experienced, passionate chefs to join our network as freelance culinary instructors. This role is perfect for skilled culinary professionals who are enthusiastic about sharing their expertise and love for cooking with a diverse group of customers. The ideal candidate will bring not only culinary knowledge but also a dynamic and engaging presence to our cooking classes, setting the stage for enjoyable, educational, and memorable experiences.

This freelance position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work in a variety of luxury apartment communities, leading cooking classes in different cuisines such as sushi, pasta, desserts, and Italian specialties among others. The chef will be the face of Flamingo at each event, responsible for providing a professional, upbeat, and engaging atmosphere. Duties include preparing all necessary materials and setup prior to events, adhering to scheduled times, and maintaining communication with our Flamingo team through email and phone. Additionally, the chef will be responsible for documenting attendance and sharing feedback post-event to help us continuously improve our offerings.

Our ideal chef candidates are certified or licensed professionals with at least 2-3 years of culinary experience, preferably with a background in either hosting cooking classes or catering events. Because this is a freelance role, candidates should have the availability to facilitate classes Monday through Friday evenings between 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm, with additional opportunities available on weekends for special events. All selected chefs will represent Flamingo’s commitment to excellence through their professionalism and dedication to delivering a top-quality resident experience.
