Flamingo is an innovative and comprehensive resident engagement mobile app designed to enhance the living experience in luxury residential apartment buildings. Providing a suite of premium services, Flamingo specializes in organizing and facilitating resident events, fitness classes, and concierge services that cater to the unique needs of its clientele. These resident events vary from interactive cooking classes to catered parties and engaging culinary experiences, creating a vibrant community atmosphere within residential spaces. The role available with Flamingo is ideal for experienced chefs who are passionate about sharing their culinary skills and knowledge with others. Whether through facilitating cooking classes or providing catering services for various events, chefs will have the opportunity to engage directly with residents, showcasing their expertise in an interactive and professional environment. This freelance position offers flexibility and the potential for attractive pay rates ranging from $500 to $8000 per event based on the scale and nature of the engagement. This position requires culinary professionals who are not only skilled in cooking but who also excel at teaching and engaging with diverse audiences. The types of cooking classes offered include but are not limited to Japanese sushi-making, Italian pasta preparation, dessert crafting, and other varied cuisines. Candidates should be comfortable with evening and weekend availability, as events are primarily scheduled from Monday to Friday between 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm, with additional weekend opportunities. Beyond culinary expertise, the role demands a professional, upbeat, and engaging demeanor as the chef serves as the face of Flamingo during events. Responsibilities extend to event setup, timely execution, photo documentation, post-event communication, and administrative tasks such as attendance data input. - experience facilitating cooking classes and/or providing catering services for events

Job Qualifications
- be a certified or licensed chef
- experience facilitating cooking classes and/or providing catering services for events
- 2-3 years of experience preferred
Job Duties
- facilitate a wide variety of cooking classes including sushi, pasta, desserts, italian, and more
- be the face of flamingo and deliver the best experience by being professional, upbeat and engaging with customers
- arrive prior to each event to get set-up and organized
- ensure events start and end on time
- take photos at assigned events
- communicate and provide team with post-event feedback
- input attendance data after each event
