The Event Manager role at CDS is a full-time position designed for a proactive and organized individual who will be instrumental in recruiting, hiring, and supervising a team of in-store Product Demonstrators. This role has a critical responsibility to ensure that product preparation and presentation are conducted to the highest standards, with particular attention to food safety and sanitation when applicable. The Event Manager will serve as a key communicator, liaising between warehouse managers, vendors, and demonstrators to ensure smooth operations and seamless event execution.
The job includes participation in grand openings of new store locations, contributing to the success of large-scale launch events by overseeing all demonstration activities and staffing needs. The Event Manager is essential for maintaining the quality of customer service through training programs and ongoing coaching of demonstrators, ensuring every customer interaction is exemplary and reflects the CDS standard.
This position offers a set schedule from Tuesday to Saturday, from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, though hours may vary based on operational needs. - two to four years of related experience in retail, hospitality, or food environments
- detail oriented with excellent leadership and communication skills
- proven ability to lead well performing teams

- flexibility and ability to work in a fast paced environment

- Recruit, train and hire part-time staff
