Job Description
Club Demonstration Services (CDS) is a well-established event marketing company known for providing exceptional in-store product demonstration services, primarily partnering with Costco. With a strong focus on person-to-person marketing, CDS drives sales growth for both its customers and Costco, making it the preferred in-house event marketing provider to this major retail warehouse club. The company prides itself on its commitment to excellent customer service, innovative marketing solutions, and a supportive work environment for employees. CDS offers a comprehensive full-time employment opportunity that includes a set schedule, competitive benefits package, and the chance to work within a dynamic and growing team dedicated to professional excellence and customer satisfaction.
The Event Manager role at CDS is a full-time position responsible for the effective recruitment, hiring, and supervision of in-store Product Demonstrators. This role demands strong leadership and communication skills for managing staff across multiple store locations and vendor relationships. The Event Manager will oversee all aspects of product demonstration, including product preparation, presentation, and ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. This position is pivotal in delivering exceptional service to Club members and supporting retail events such as new location grand openings.
In addition to hands-on management of demonstrators, the Event Manager will coordinate communication between warehouse managers, vendors, and product demonstrators, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality demonstrations. The role requires an individual adept at training staff to uphold the highest standards in demonstration preparation and customer engagement. CDS emphasizes work-life balance with a consistent schedule, full-time benefits—including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability coverage—alongside a 401(k) retirement plan and generous paid time off. This role provides a unique opportunity for professionals seeking to advance their careers in event management within the retail and hospitality sectors, delivering impactful marketing experiences and building strong teams. CDS invites qualified candidates passionate about customer service and leadership to apply and become part of a company dedicated to excellence in promotional event management.
