Job Description
UniFirst is a prominent leader in the garment services industry, boasting a rich heritage that spans over 80 years. As a $2 billion organization operating in an $18 billion industry, UniFirst delivers exceptional uniform and facility services to more than 300,000 business customer locations throughout the U.S., Canada, and Europe. Renowned for its strong family culture and commitment to diversity, the company employs over 14,000 team partners who thrive in an inclusive environment where different cultures, personalities, and backgrounds are valued. UniFirst offers a unique blend of small-company feel and the stability and resources of a large enterprise, evidenced by its recognition on Forbes magazine's 'Platinum 400 - Best Big Companies' list and inclusion in Selling Power magazine's 'Best Companies to Sell For.' The company emphasizes career growth from within, with many managers having started on the production floor themselves.
UniFirst is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Production Team Partner to join their Wash Aisle Department, a critical center of plant floor operations. This role involves the loading and unloading of industrial washers and dryers, ensuring the smooth flow of garment processing. As a team partner in this department, you will operate washing and drying machines by wash load formulation and processing sequence, deliver processed garments and flat goods to designated finishing areas, monitor detergent supplies, and report equipment malfunctions. Maintaining cleanliness and adhering to safety, HACCP, and medical guidelines are also essential aspects of this role. The position offers a 5-day work week schedule with weekends off, promoting a healthy work-life balance. On-the-job training is provided, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to start or continue their career in production with support and cross-training to enhance job performance and career advancement potential.
In addition to competitive hourly pay, UniFirst offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes a 401K plan with company match, profit sharing, health insurance, employee assistance programs, life insurance, paid time off, direct payroll deposit, tuition reimbursement, employee discounts, and referral bonuses. The company fosters a supportive culture where ongoing training, career growth, and diversity are prioritized, making it an ideal workplace for individuals seeking stability, development, and a welcoming community.
