This commitment to quality and growth makes UniFirst an outstanding place to develop a career.

UniFirst is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Production Team Partner to strengthen their Production Department. This vital role marks the beginning of the production process each day, where team members collaborate to clear out soiled products from service trucks. This position offers a 5-day work week, ensuring employees enjoy weekends off, which supports a healthy work-life balance. UniFirst offers on-the-job training, welcoming team members who may be new to the industry and providing opportunities for growth and advancement. Employees benefit from ongoing cross-training across different production areas, enhancing their skills and opening paths toward career development within the company. The company promotes internal advancement frequently, with many managers having begun their careers on the production floor, reflecting UniFirst's dedication to employee growth and promotion from within.

Compensation and benefits for the Production Team Partner are competitive and comprehensive. These include great hourly pay along with valuable benefits such as 401K with company match, profit sharing, health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, direct payroll deposit, tuition reimbursement, employee assistance program, 30% employee discount, and employee referral bonuses. Safety follows as a primary concern with strict adherence to all safety policies, HACCP, and medical guidelines to ensure each team member's well-being.

In the role, Production Team Partners will engage in hands-on, team-oriented tasks such as unloading soiled products from trucks, separating these products by type, weighing the soiled items, and hoisting or storing them until the next stage of the process. Responsibilities also include managing changes or modifications to customer accounts, ensuring products are added or removed accurately. This role requires clear communication with supervisors and management, along with the ability to perform basic mathematical operations related to weights, volumes, and distances based on standard American units. Physical demands include standing for up to eight hours per shift and lifting up to 35 pounds with some pushing tasks involving carts up to 40 pounds.
