The Production Team Partner position is an essential role within UniFirst's plant operations, specifically within the Wash Aisle Department. Team Partners are pivotal to the company's operational success, handling the critical tasks of loading and unloading industrial washers and dryers efficiently. Job Requirements
- High school education and/or GED equivalent preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift
- Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management
- Ability to perform basic mathematical operations using American standard units in weight measurement, volume, and distance
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
Job Qualifications
- High school education and/or GED equivalent preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Ability to stand for an entire 8-hour shift
- Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management
- Ability to perform basic mathematical operations using American standard units in weight, volume, and distance
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
- Previous experience in production or manufacturing is a plus but not required
- Demonstrated reliability and strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training and cross-training initiatives
Job Duties
- Load and unload industrial washers and dryers by wash load formulation and processing sequence
- Deliver processed garments and flat goods to designated finishing areas
- Monitor detergent supply and report equipment malfunctions
- Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with safety policies, HACCP, and medical guidelines
- Complete paperwork and accurately record production processes in a timely manner
- Communicate clearly with management regarding production issues and operational needs
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management
