The Production Team Partner role in the Wash Aisle Department is a vital position within UniFirst’s plant floor operations. This full-time, hourly role involves loading and unloading industrial washers and dryers, handling garments and flat goods during the wash and dry process. Team Partners operate specialized equipment with careful attention to wash load formulations and processing sequences to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency. The position offers a 5-day work week with weekends off, affirming UniFirst’s dedication to work-life balance. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during an 8-hour shift
  • Basic literacy and communication skills
  • Basic mathematical competency in standard US measurement units
  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs

Job Duties

  • Load and unload industrial washing machines by wash load formulation and processing sequence
  • Load and unload dryers efficiently
  • Deliver processed garments to the designated finishing area
  • Deliver processed flat goods to the appropriate area
  • Monitor detergent supply and report equipment malfunctions promptly
  • Maintain accurate production records and paperwork
  • Keep work area clean and organized
  • Follow all safety policies, HACCP guidelines, and medical procedures
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management
