The role of Production Team Partner within UniFirst's Pre-Tunnel Inspection Department is essential in maintaining the company’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. This position is part of a collaborative team responsible for inspecting garments as they go through the steam tunnel process, ensuring they meet strict quality assurance standards. Every garment undergoes a thorough inspection, highlighting any visible defects such as tears, holes, stains, or damage, while strictly adhering to UniFirst’s comprehensive 20-point uniform inspection process. The Production Team Partner directly contributes to maintaining the high standards of the products before they reach customers.

This role offers a 5-day workweek, allowing team members to enjoy weekends off, supporting a healthy work-life balance. UniFirst provides on-the-job training to equip new hires with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. Job Requirements

  • High school education and/or GED equivalent preferred
  • must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • ability to stand for 8-hour shift
  • ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management
  • ability to perform basic mathematical functions using American standard units in weight, measurement, volume, and distance
  • ability to lift up to 10 lbs and push up to 25 lbs

Job Duties

  • Count garments
  • hang garments to be processed through the steam tunnel
  • visually inspect all garments for tears, holes, stains, and damage
  • ensure all garments pass the UniFirst 20-point uniform inspection process
  • follow all safety policies, HACCP and medical guidelines
  • perform other duties as described by area supervisor or management
