The company holds a staunch policy against discrimination of any kind and ensures accommodations for applicants with disabilities to make the recruitment process accessible and fair.

Joining UniFirst means becoming part of a family culture that values hard work, mutual support, and career development. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employee well-being, career advancement, and financial security. These benefits include competitive hourly pay, 401K with company match, profit sharing, health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and employee discounts among others. UniFirst also emphasizes work-life balance by maintaining a five-day, 40-hour workweek with weekends off, which is ideal for employees seeking stability and time for personal pursuits.

The Production Team Partner role within the Pre-Tunnel Inspection Department plays a critical part in maintaining the high standards of quality assurance UniFirst offers to its customers. Team Partners are entrusted with inspecting garments as they move through the steam tunnel to ensure they meet the strict 20-point uniform inspection process. This role demands diligence, attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety and hygiene rules, including HACCP and medical guidelines. The position includes meaningful responsibilities such as counting garments, hanging them for processing, visually inspecting for any defects like tears, holes, stains, or damage, and reporting to supervisors for any deviations found.

UniFirst provides on-the-job training for new Team Partners, supporting their success in the role and offering ongoing cross-training opportunities to engage with various production areas. This approach not only strengthens team performance but also promotes individual career growth and development within the company. Many current managers have advanced internally, starting their careers on the production floor, showcasing UniFirst’s dedication to internal promotion and talent nurturing.

As a Production Team Partner at UniFirst, you will enjoy a stable and rewarding work environment with a competitive estimated hourly pay range of $16.50 to $17.50 depending on skills, experience, and location. The job requires physical stamina to stand for an 8-hour shift and the ability to handle tasks involving lifting and pushing materials safely. Clear communication, basic math skills, and a readiness to adhere to established safety policies are crucial for success in this role.

In summary, UniFirst offers a dynamic, culture-rich workplace with strong values, benefits, and career opportunities.
