The role offered is that of a Production Team Partner, a critical position within UniFirst’s production department. This is a full-time, hourly role that offers a 40-hour work week with weekends off, promoting a healthy work-life balance. The position involves working collaboratively with other team members to ensure all customer garments and related products meet stringent quality standards. The core responsibilities include careful inspection of garments for quality control, ensuring items are free from holes, tears, stains, or any form of damage, as well as packaging, folding, and bundling of products according to company protocols. Ongoing cross-training is also provided to expose team partners to various production areas, enhancing their skills and opening pathways for career advancement within the company.

Job Requirements

  • High school education and/or GED equivalent preferred
  • must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • ability to stand for 8-hour shift
  • ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management
  • ability to perform basic mathematical operations using American standard units of weight measurement, volume, and distance

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Fold cloths, towels, and wipers
  • bundle, package, and bag articles in accordance with company requirements
  • inspect products for holes, tears, stains, and damage
  • follow all safety policies, HACCP and medical guidelines
  • perform other duties as described by area supervisor or management
