The Production Team Partner role at UniFirst plays an essential role within the Shipping Department, directly impacting the company's ability to keep customers on schedule through the timely delivery of garments. This position offers a dependable, full-time work schedule with a 5-day, 40-hour workweek and weekends off, thus promoting an excellent work-life balance for its employees. On-the-job training is provided to ensure that team partners gain the necessary skills to excel and succeed. The role involves preparing garments for shipment, organizing them by delivery route and stop number, and performing final inspections to maintain quality standards. Team partners also handle poly bagging or wrapping of garments when required, all while adhering strictly to safety policies and guidelines including HACCP and medical standards. Job Requirements

  • High school education and/or GED equivalent preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical functions using American standard units in weight, measurement, volume, and distance
  • Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. and push up to 25 lbs.

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Prepare garments to be shipped back to customer locations
  • Organize garments by route and stop number
  • Store garments until shipment back to the customer
  • Handle final inspection to ensure products meet quality standards
  • Prepare garments that require poly bagging/wrapping
  • Follow all safety policies, HACCP and medical guidelines
  • Perform other duties as described by area supervisor or management
