UniFirst is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Production Team Partner to join their dynamic Production Department. This is a full-time position with a five-day workweek, offering weekends off to support a healthy work-life balance. The role centers around assisting the production team in preparing orders and floor mats for delivery to customers. The Production Team Partner position involves a range of hands-on duties such as bundling, packaging, rolling articles according to company specifications, handling flat good orders, inspecting products for quality, and ensuring compliance with safety and medical guidelines. The role requires ability to perform physical tasks including standing for an 8-hour shift and lifting up to 30 pounds. Candidates must be at least 16 years old to work in certain areas and 18 to operate machinery. Effective communication skills, basic math proficiency using American customary units, and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Job Requirements

  • High school education or GED equivalent preferred
  • minimum age of 18 years to operate machinery
  • minimum age of 16 years to work in the load building area
  • ability to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift
  • ability to read, write, and communicate clearly
  • ability to lift 15-30 pounds
  • ability to perform basic mathematical operations using American standard units

Job Qualifications

  • High school education and/or GED equivalent preferred
  • must be at least 18 years of age or older to operate mat roller and any machinery
  • must be at least 16 years of age or older to work in the load building area
  • ability to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift
  • ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management
  • ability to lift up to 15-30 lbs
  • ability to perform basic mathematical operations using American standard units of weight measurement, volume, and distance

Job Duties

  • Bundle, package, and roll articles in accordance with company requirements
  • handle flat good orders and select appropriate items
  • select appropriate items by style, color, etc.
  • inspect products for tears, holes, stains, excessive moisture, etc.
  • follow all safety policies, HACCP and medical guidelines
  • perform other duties as described by area supervisor or management
