With a rich history spanning over 120 years, the company has earned the trust of its customers by providing precise, reliable products that contribute to the efficient management of one of the world's most critical natural resources – water. Badger Meter's mission goes beyond business success; it is dedicated to preserving and protecting water resources worldwide, making a positive impact on communities and the environment. The company fosters a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and creativity, ensuring that every employee's voice is heard and valued. Career growth and development opportunities are a key focus at Badger Meter, where employees are empowered to achieve their full potential in a supportive workplace environment. This purpose-driven approach creates meaningful work that resonates beyond the walls of the company, touching lives globally and promoting sustainability for future generations.
The role offered is that of a 3rd Shift Production Worker at Badger Meter's Milwaukee facility. This position is integral to the company's manufacturing operations, primarily supporting daily production tasks that ensure parts, machines, and materials meet rigorous quality and performance standards. As a 3rd Shift Production Worker, you will engage in hands-on activities essential to the fast-paced production environment, including operating plastic injection molding machines, checking parts for quality, performing routine quality checks, and helping to maintain a clean and safe workspace. Employees in this role often rotate among various workstations within their home department and sometimes assist in other areas based on workload demands. The job requires alertness to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work efficiently while standing or walking for prolonged periods. The role pays $21.70 per hour and demands adherence to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds. In addition to contributing to production excellence, workers in this position are essential to maintaining the smooth flow of operations critical to fulfilling customer orders and sustaining high-quality manufacturing outputs. This role is excellent for individuals who appreciate active work, enjoy variety through station rotation, and seek to contribute directly to a purpose-driven company advancing global water sustainability.
