The role available at CMC involves working within its manufacturing or fabrication facilities, focusing on operating production and rebar fabrication equipment safely and efficiently. As a team member, you will assist in loading and unloading materials, operate machinery such as shears, benders, cranes, forklifts, threaders, forging equipment, and welders. The role includes cross-training on various machines to maintain versatility and increase productivity.

They should demonstrate strong work ethics, the ability to work independently when required, and collaborate effectively within their team. Job Requirements
- Must be able to work outside under all weather conditions to include working in the heat and cold weather
- Able and willing to cross train as required
- Follow OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies, rules, and regulations
- Possess a strong work ethic and practice safe working habits
- Ability to work as a team player in a fast paced environment, with strong work ethic, pay attention to detail and find root causes for issues
- Ability to operate fabrication machines in a safe manner without supervision
- Able to work overtime as business requires
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders and steps, work outside under all weather conditions when needed
- Must be able to read technical documents and service manuals
- Possess knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the industrial field
- Excellent communication skills, in both written and verbal form are necessary to be successful in this role
- Minimum 1 year working with heavy industrial environment experience preferred but not required
- Must be able to work overtime, either planned or unplanned for emergency situations
- Must possess work ethic and ability to be punctual
- Stand for long periods of time
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal form

Job Duties
- Attend training regarding applicable equipment
- Perform additional duties as needed
- Assist in loading fabricated rebar on trailers and unloading stock material from trailers
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition
- Operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
- Participate in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety Culture
- Cross-train on multiple machines
- Operate rebar fabrication equipment such as shears, benders, cranes, forklift, threaders, forging, welders, etc.
