The Production Team Partner role at UniFirst’s Brooklyn Heights, OH location offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of this dynamic company. This position is part of the Alterations & Mending Department within UniFirst’s production team. Team Partners play a crucial role in ensuring that customer garments remain in exceptional condition by conducting detailed quality inspections and performing efficient garment mending. This position also offers competitive hourly pay, ranging approximately between $13.85 and $16.50 per hour, with actual compensation based on individual skills and qualifications.

Job Requirements

  • High school education and/or GED equivalent preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical operations using American standard units of weight measurement, volume, and distance

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Receive all mending work orders and products requiring mending from Route Sales and garment finishing area
  • Repair defects in garments as needed using the correct mending procedure in a timely manner
  • Maintain a clean work area
  • Complete paperwork and record keep in a timely manner
  • Follow all safety policies, HACCP and medical guidelines
  • Perform other duties as described by area supervisor or management
