Job Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in an industrial or production environment preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Capacity to work on the scheduled shift hours including early mornings and Fridays
- Physical ability to lift and move slings or carriers up to 220 lbs and products up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and company policies
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent preferred
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of basic math skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to meet attendance schedule
- Ability to handle physical demands of job including lifting and moving heavy items
Job Duties
- Check all machine safety devices before operating equipment and record the appropriate safety forms
- Load washers and dryers by maneuvering slings and verifying batch tickets
- Position washers and dryers correctly and start machines with selected formulas
- Write ticket information on washer/dryer forms and enter batch weights in SOFTROL
- Unload washers and dryers carefully and ensure items are at proper moisture and temperature levels
- Identify and remove damaged slings from the system
- Maintain safe and clean working environment and observe best production practices
- Perform other duties as assigned
