UniFirst is committed to fostering a supportive and diverse workplace where employees from various backgrounds and cultures come together to create outstanding service. Uncompromising in its dedication to equal opportunity employment, UniFirst ensures a discrimination-free hiring process and provides accommodations throughout the recruitment phase for individuals with disabilities or medical conditions.

The role we are currently hiring for is a Production Team Partner position in the Pre-Tunnel Inspection Department. This is a pivotal role within the UniFirst production team, focusing on quality assurance of garments processed through the steam tunnel as part of their cleaning and preparation. The position offers steady, full-time employment with a five-day workweek and weekends off, providing a healthy work-life balance. New team partners receive comprehensive on-the-job training and are exposed to cross-training across different production areas, enhancing skill development and potential for career advancement within the company.

As a Production Team Partner, your responsibilities will include counting garments, hanging them for processing, and performing detailed visual inspections to detect any tears, holes, stains, or other damage. The role requires adherence to UniFirst’s rigorous 20-point uniform inspection process, as well as compliance with safety policies, HACCP standards, and medical guidelines. This position is critical in maintaining the high standards of uniform quality that UniFirst's customers expect.

UniFirst values its team partners by offering competitive hourly pay, comprehensive benefits including 401K with company match, profit sharing, health and life insurance, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and employee discounts. The company prides itself on a supportive family-oriented culture that encourages growth from within, offering numerous opportunities for career progression. Many of UniFirst's management team started their careers on the production floor, reflecting the company’s commitment to employee development and promotion.

Applicants should be at least 18 years old and have a high school education or GED equivalent. The role requires the ability to stand for an 8-hour shift, perform basic math functions, and communicate clearly with management. Physically, team partners must be able to lift up to 10 pounds and push up to 25 pounds, essential for handling garments safely and efficiently.

Joining UniFirst means becoming part of a dynamic, diverse, and inclusive work environment that respects and appreciates individual uniqueness while striving together towards quality and excellence. If you are reliable, hardworking, and eager to grow in a team-focused setting, UniFirst invites you to apply for this exciting Production Team Partner opportunity.
