As part of this manufacturing position, the selected candidate will help identify workmanship and material defects, ensure adherence to specifications, handle shift overlaps, and communicate issues timely to supervisors. This role calls for meticulous attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to mentor others. It demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement, encouraging employees to participate in improvement activities and document their progress. This is a full-time role based in Concord, CA, with a work schedule from Friday to Sunday, 5:00 am to 5:30 pm, classified as a safety-sensitive position that will require passing a pre-employment drug screen.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of electronics manufacturing and some leadership experience
- Contract manufacturing preferred
- 0-3 years of experience mentoring others
- Knowledgeable in processes to fully support a shift without additional support
- Ability to use any equipment required in the functioning of the work center
- Effective communication skills, in both written and verbal formats
- Ability to effectively mentor employees
- Understanding of and ability to use continuous improvement tools
- Ability to drive solutions to planning issues with direction from management
- Ability to support a 24/7 global business operation as required
- Ability to work overtime when needed
- Effective analytical, planning, and organizational skills
- Effective interpersonal skills with employees
- Effective problem solving skills
- Demonstrate discretion, confidentiality, independent judgment and professionalism when representing the company

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of electronics manufacturing experience
- Some leadership or mentoring experience
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes to support shift operations

Job Duties
- Identify workmanship and material defects by sight
- Ensure others perform tasks with a high degree of care and attention to minimize loss of time and material
- Ensure team members follow work instructions and procedures, drawings and customer specifications
- Respond to written and verbal direction
- Monitor individual work habits and performance
- Continuously monitor quality and provide feedback to operators
- Ensure scrap is properly disposed of at the end of each shift
- Assist in facilitating shift overlap
- Communicate all issues to the supervisor in a timely manner
- Increase process knowledge of product
- Lead by example and support management objectives and company policies
- Act as backup for the supervisor as needed
- Ensure quality of own work to meet or exceed customer satisfaction
