Job Duties

  • Prepare food items necessary for assigned area
  • assign specific duties to associates under supervision for efficient operation of the kitchen
  • ensure proper storage and handling of products using portion, presentation and recipe controls
  • maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas including food and non-food working areas
  • report equipment repair or maintenance to appropriate supervisor or facility department
  • supervise team members in absence of Sous Chef including disciplining, training and scheduling associates
  • perform other duties as assigned
