Job Duties
- Lead safety, quality, productivity, and improvement initiatives on the designated shift
- Plan, assign and direct work for all hourly production employees
- Appraise performance and provide feedback as needed
- Assist in resolving complaints
- Hold employees accountable as needed
- Communicate issues and results daily
- Ensure adherence of employees to plant safety rules and health and safety regulations
- Make changes to line setup to increase efficiencies
- Manage Line Coordinators and Leads regarding safety, quality findings, and daily production needs
- Manage and enter daily labor and production results
- Resolve problems affecting Line Coordinators, Leads, and team continuity
- Ensure safe use and operation of equipment and training/documentation of qualified employees
- Review production and quality paperwork for accuracy and compliance
- Understand and coach on build/assembly specifications
- Perform root cause analysis for quality, safety, or productivity failures
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager, including line lead/line coordinator responsibilities when necessary
