Bimbo Bakeries USA is a leading baking company in the United States, known for producing a wide range of beloved bread and baked goods brands including Arnold, Brownberry, Oroweat bread, Thomas English muffins, Sara Lee cakes, and Entenmann's pastries. With a workforce of more than 20,000 associates spread across bakeries, sales centers, offices, and sales routes, Bimbo Bakeries USA is committed to delivering fresh, high-quality products to consumers every day. The company prides itself on fostering a safe, inclusive, and diverse work environment that supports associate development and encourages employees to be their authentic selves. It is the largest baking company in the world, with a nationwide presence and a strong community culture oriented towards teamwork and excellence in baking operations.

The role of Production Team Leader at Bimbo Bakeries USA is integral to achieving the company’s mission of baking excellence, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The position offers a competitive salary range between $69,200 and $90,000 annually, eligibility for bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid time off and a 401k plan with company match. As a Production Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment to consistently produce world-class products and enhance operational capabilities. This leadership position requires ensuring that all shift activities — from product quality to equipment maintenance and safety standards — align with Bimbo Bakeries USA’s Operations Excellence Playbook.

In this role, you will foster a culture of associate engagement by respecting and empowering team members, driving accountability, and developing individuals through coaching and constructive feedback. You will collaborate across departments, preparing priorities, communicating crucial operational issues, and ensuring the completion of assigned actions. This position requires a strong operational mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage resources efficiently to meet production schedules, quality standards, and safety goals.

The Production Team Leader operates within a culture that values continuous improvement, teamwork, and change leadership. You will be expected to exemplify the company’s E5 Leadership Behaviors: Embrace the Consumer, Ensure Operational Capabilities, Empower and Involve, Engage and Develop, and Expect Ownership and Accountability. Leading by example, you will motivate and coach associates to be independent problem solvers and champions of world-class manufacturing standards. This role also involves utilizing various digital tools and applications to maintain effective operational workflows and contribute to the achievement of key performance indicators related to people, quality, safety, service, and cost. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, product quality, and operational excellence while promoting a positive and inclusive work culture.
