The Production Shift Manager role located in Fridley, MN, is a critical leadership position within H.B. Fuller’s manufacturing operations. This role entails overseeing a 12-hour night shift on a 2-2-3 schedule from 6 pm to 6:30 am, with initial training required on the day shift. Reporting directly to the Production Manager, the Shift Manager is responsible for driving safety-first behaviors, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This individual will guide and mentor the night shift team members, applying operational discipline to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets consistently. Success in this position is measured by the team’s safety performance, product quality, production efficiency, and employee engagement.

The Shift Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting site and company strategies, using data and management systems to monitor shift performance and implement improvement initiatives. They coordinate workflow continuity across shifts and departments, ensuring seamless production processes through disciplined execution and cross-functional collaboration. H.B. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 4+ years of manufacturing experience in shift-based operations
  • 1-3 years of people leadership experience
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
