The role of Production Runner within the US Concerts sector is a critical support position responsible for executing a variety of logistical tasks that facilitate the seamless production of live shows. This position demands exceptional discretion owing to the confidential nature of some engagements. The primary responsibility is to ensure the talent and production teams have all necessary resources and support readily available to maintain the quality and efficiency of performances.
Specific tasks include coordinating and delivering food and beverages to bands or talent, retrieving and delivering equipment or essential paperwork, and maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of stage and backstage areas. The Production Runner also assists with distributing show passes and guest lists, supports Green Room Server duties as required, and completes opening, running, and closing side tasks as dictated by company policy. Crucial to success in this role is a thorough knowledge of all music, promotional, or special events taking place in the venue and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, demanding environment while consistently demonstrating professionalism.
Live Nation seeks candidates who are passionate, motivated, and embody a strong sense of entrepreneurship, resourcefulness, innovation, and commitment. Candidates must possess a valid automobile with insurance, an excellent driving record, and familiarity with touring or stage production operations. The job calls for flexible scheduling and excellent communication skills, along with punctuality and a solid understanding of local geography to efficiently locate restaurants, stores, and other key points of interest. Physical demands include extended periods of standing, working in loud and potentially stressful conditions, and the ability to safely lift or move items up to 40 pounds.
The position offers hourly compensation estimated between $18.40 and $23.00, based on factors such as location, experience, and qualifications. As an equal opportunity employer, Live Nation celebrates diversity and inclusion, supporting applicants regardless of age, race, gender, or disability status, and provides reasonable accommodations as needed. This opportunity is ideal for individuals eager to be part of a renowned global entertainment leader while advancing their career in live music production.
