The Production Planner 1 role at TWG is an essential position within the Ripon Production Planning team, primarily focused on supporting daily bottling schedules to meet production demands efficiently. This hybrid position offers flexibility, combining remote work with the necessity of occasional on-site presence at the Ripon office for critical meetings and in-person collaboration. The individual in this role will be cross-trained across multiple functions, including raw material ordering and wine demand planning, making this a versatile and integral part of the planning department. This role is vital to ensuring seamless coordination between production schedules, resource planning, and supply chain logistics. The Production Planner 1 works closely with various departments such as operations, quality control, logistics, and winemaking teams to maintain alignment on timely material availability, adhering to production timelines, and ultimately supporting the company’s reputation for delivering high-quality products. The salary range for this position starts at $24.52 per hour, going up to $36.83 per hour, depending on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and other factors. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Three or more years of relevant experience in supply chain, manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, transportation, or finance
- Proficiency with advanced PC applications including Excel, Word, Outlook
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to proprietary software
- Availability for hybrid work and occasional travel to Ripon office
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, operations, accounting, finance, engineering, or related field or equivalent experience
- Three or more years of experience within supply chain, manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, transportation, and/or finance
- Analytical abilities with reliance on data to drive decisions and the ability to conceptualize solutions
- Advanced PC skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Extremely detail oriented
- Ability to be a team player in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Must be able to juggle multiple priorities with tight deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills including written and verbal
- Must be self-motivated, articulate, empowered, and creative
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of or ability to be trained in TWG software programs
- J.D. Edwards/ERP experience preferred
- CPG and/or wine industry experience preferred

Job Duties
- Reconcile and maintain production schedules aligning with customer demands and delivery timelines
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines and optimize workflow
- Supply daily bottling schedules across multiple platforms to facilitate production needs
- Collaborate with operations team to review near-term scheduling needs and align resource plans accordingly
- Collaborate with production, quality control, and logistics teams to resolve any issues impacting material availability or schedule adherence
- Coordinate with suppliers to manage material procurement ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency
- Compare and adjust planned material deliveries against fluctuating bottling needs
